The challenge

What was going wrong

The company sold workflow software to mid-sized businesses. Most leads came from cold outreach and paid ads. Many were a poor fit, and the sales team spent its time sorting through people who were never going to buy.

The website had few pages written around what buyers actually search for. Blog posts were about the company, not the customer. Competitors ranked for the key topics, and marketing could not show which content helped a sale.

Our approach

How we worked it out

  1. 1

    Learn how buyers search

We interviewed sales and support, studied search terms and mapped the questions buyers ask from first problem to final comparison.

  2. 2

    Plan the content

We chose a small set of topics the company could truly own. Each topic got a main guide and supporting pages that link to one another.

  3. 3

    Fix the site basics

We repaired slow pages, broken links and unclear page titles so search engines could read the site well. We also added clear next steps on every page.

  4. 4

    Connect content to leads

We tied each page to forms and the sales system. Sales now sees which article a lead read first, and we improve pages based on that.

What we built

The solution

  • Topic-based content plan

Guides and supporting pages built around real buyer questions.

  • Technical site cleanup

Faster pages, cleaner structure and clear titles for search engines.

  • Lead capture and routing

Forms feed the sales system with the page each lead came from.

  • Content performance report

A simple view of which pages bring leads sales actually wants.

What changed

The results

  • Better-fit inbound leads

Sales reports more inquiries from buyers who already understand the problem.

  • Stronger search presence

The company now appears for the topics its buyers research before they buy.

  • Content tied to revenue

Marketing can show which pages help start real sales conversations.

Technology

What it was built with

  • Semrush Keyword, competitor and site audit data for search and content planning.
  • Google Search Console Shows how your site appears in Google search and flags indexing problems.
  • Google Analytics Shows how visitors find and use your website and apps.
  • HubSpot CRM for sales, marketing and customer service.
